Life Update: Moving, Coparenting, and What’s Next for the Blog this Spring

It’s been a while since I’ve written here, and if you’ve noticed the quiet—thank you for waiting. Life’s been full lately. Not in a bad way, just… shifting. Changing. Settling. And now that we're settled, I’m ready to start sharing again.

From House to Apartment: A Big Life Transition
In March, I packed up our house and moved into a new space with Olive - downsized dramatically. It was the kind of move that marked more than just a change in address—it was the start of a new rhythm (and really life in general). We’ve transitioned into apartment life and, with that, a new chapter of coparenting. There’s been a lot of learning, adjusting, and softening in this process. It’s had its moments—some hard (like really) , some beautiful, most a mix of both.
For a while, I haven't had the energy or emotional bandwidth to show up online in the way I was before. The pause wasn’t planned, but it was necessary. I needed time to breathe, to root myself in a new routine, to figure out what this next season of life looks like for us.

A Season of Change and Building Community as a Mom
If the past year was about anticipating change, then this spring is about embracing what’s finally here.
There’s so much I’ve been carrying—logistics, emotions, hope, fear—and now that so many of the pieces have landed where they need to, I finally have the space to focus on what I find to matter the most: building something meaningful for myself and Olive.
This blog, this creative space, my mom community—I’ve missed it. I’m coming back with more clarity and more purpose than I had before. I’ve always wanted this space to feel honest, grounded, and connected to the season I’m in, and that hasn’t changed. But what has shifted is the energy I now have to give it—freed up by making room in my life for the things that truly matter.
What to Expect This Spring on the Blog
Now that the dust has settled, I’m so excited to get back into writing. This month, you can expect a mix of what you’ve always found here: honest mom life, everyday reflections, and personal favorites. But there’s also some newness I’m bringing in that reflects where I’m at now.
Here’s a sneak peek:
Mother’s Day gift ideas and reflections on motherhood A round-up of thoughtful gift ideas, ways I plan to celebrate with Olive, and a reflection on what motherhood feels like this year.
Spring activities for toddlers and moms in Nashville Outdoor adventures, toddler-friendly spots in Nashville, and slow moments we’re savoring as the days get warmer.
How I’m building a support system as a single mom I’m sharing more about how I’m building connection with other moms—online and in real life—and what that support system has meant to me.
And of course, I’ll keep sprinkling in some food finds, cozy favorites, and everyday glimpses of life with my little one (face-free, always).
Starting Fresh with Purpose and Gratitude
If you’re still here—thank you. Whether you’ve been reading since the beginning or just found your way here, I’m so glad you’re a part of this.
Here’s to starting fresh, with open hands and a full heart.
