Strawberry Shenanigans
This past weekend, my daughter and I spent the day at the Strawberry Jubilee festival at the Nashville Farmers Market. This is hosted every year in May for one Saturday from 10am-2pm.
I dressed Olive in the worlds cutest strawberry print dress (her fav) and it made the day feel even more special.
Since the festival is free to attend and packed with activities like children's games, a strawberry-themed photo booth, and plenty of delicious strawberry-flavored treats—think strawberry shortcake, lemonade, and more! It’s a great event to soak up some early summer vibes while exploring everything the market has to offer. And it also makes for the perfect baby friendly outing.
The weather was perfect, the music was good, and the vibes were high - Olive even colored her first picture ever (PLEASE look at the picture)!
She was so proud, and I was even prouder. We took advantage of the photo booth, snapping some adorable mom-and-daughter photos that I’ll cherish forever. They were the perfect little memento of the best day
Some things to note:
Parking was not ideal—because when is it ever in Nashville? — but we managed to park within a reasonable walking distance. And by the time we arrived, the excitement of the festival (and the thought of strawberry shortcake!) made the minor hassle totally worth it. For next time, I’d recommend arriving early before the main parking lot fills up or using rideshare options.
Either way, if you’re looking for a fun, budget-friendly outing with the little ones or even just a day out with friends, Strawberry Jubilee is where it’s at. I’ll never miss an opportunity to visit the farmers market anyways but the event made it that much more fun, it’s the perfect way to enjoy Nashville at the sweetest time of the year!
